I recently enjoyed a delightful holiday in London, staying in Acton with easy access to central London. Soaking up the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Highlights included exploring historical sites like the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey, immersing in culture at the British Museum and National Gallery, and enjoying a West End musical. Strolling through Hyde Park, witnessing the Changing of the Guard, and shopping on Oxford Street were quintessential experiences. A day trip to Windsor added charm, while modern attractions like the Shard and Borough Market showcased the city’s dynamic side. The Natural History Museum, Science Museum, and Victoria and Albert Museum offered enriching experiences. The trip concluded with a serene walk along the South Bank and a memorable farewell dinner, making it an unforgettable blend of history, culture, and modernity.

London is super easy to get around, so many options between the bus, underground, taxis... we found the tube easy to navigate, quick and not too expensive. The national gallery and British museum were both free and very entertaining. Covent garden was a great day out, and right next to Chinatown and Leicester square. Travelled for the Abba Voyage show. Unbelievable would definitely recommend anyone to see it even if you're not a fan of Abba. Ate in the O2 arena most nights, good choice of food outlets. Did the Big Ben climb the tower tour, amazing. Went to the famous Abbey Road and walked the crossing. So much to see and do. So easy to get around. One of the most captivating aspects of London is its abundance of attractions. Whether you're a history buff, art enthusiast, or foodie, there's something for everyone. Iconic landmarks like the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, and the Houses of Parliament are must-sees, while the city's numerous museums and galleries, such as the British Museum and Tate Modern, provide endless opportunities for exploration and learning. The public transportation system is efficient and extensive, making it easy to navigate and access all corners of the city. Additionally, London's parks and green spaces, like Hyde Park and Regent's Park, offer serene escapes from the urban hustle and bustle. I will definitely come back to London. Its captivating diversity, fascinating attractions, and vibrant energy make it a city like no other.

I loved my hotel, visiting Buckingham Palace, seeing The Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Loved going up the Shard, but don't recommend going for their afternoon tea. Almost £40 in 'discretional tip' for 3 of us! Not much food for that either. Service not great as had to even ask for my cup of tea! Walking along the embankment, the water tours, the little lanes behind and around the Shad Thames. Good Jack The Ripper Tour. I didn't have enough time!

Our stay in London was only four days and this is not nearly enough time to see everything that we wanted. However, what we did see was fabulous. I can’t wait to come back. The apartment is located a few minutes away from the tower bridge in a quiet area. Perfect for a few days of sight seeing London.
