The staff were lovely and sorted out the extra 2 nights we requested due to the unexpected discovery that Crowne Plaza was shut because of a fire - something we didn’t discover until we arrived. They managed to accommodate us in the same room for the 3 nights and were very efficient.

Lovely place to spend a weekend, the river and canal basin area are very pretty, loads of really good restaurants, places to stay and things to do. The Shakespeare birthday celebrations/parade is great (mid April). We did the marathon there and that's a great event if you are keen on running.

Stratford upon Avon is great for a short trip and easy to get to from London or anywhere from the Midlands. Particularly nice in spring. There are options for boat hires along the river, or go on a boating trip with someone else steering. Lots of little shops to explore. The big draw is the RSC. So nice to take in a play there with a pre-theatre dinner and explore the town.

Shakespeare's birthplace and museum was great!
Shakespeare's birthplace and museum was great! Staff were brilliant. We loved Stratford's mix of regular high street shops and unique independents. Lots of historic buildings and places to visit. We saw a matinee performance of a show that was at 1.15pm. We had time in the morning to explore, but after the show there wasn't much time for museums and other places of interest before they were closing for the day. Next time, I'll plan for a 2 day visit instead of just 1.

Our stay at Baraset Barn Hotel was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast here and both were above our expectations. It was delicious and the best meals we've had out for a long while. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean with great views over the fields. We said hello to some lovely sheep haha! 🐑
This is certainly a hotel we are keeping noted for when we are back around Stratford upon Avon as I would definitely stop here again. Best hotel by far I've stayed in.
Gorgeous cottage. The property has been renovated to a really high standard, with stylish furnishing and décor throughout. The location is amazing, everything Stratford upon Avon had to offer was right on our doorstep and the cottage was super clean and comfortable. The parking instructions were very helpful, we parked at a nearby street, about 3 mins walk. Although we didn’t use, due to the bad weather, the garden looked quite spacious.
The location of this hotel couldn't be better for exploring Stratford Upon Avon. It is very central and has a large car park, which was the clincher for us. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms and whole hotel was spotlessly clean and we liked the fact the TV was not on the wall, like most hotels, so we could easily use our Fire Stick etc
Drinks and snacks in the mini bar were also complimentary.
It got the wow factor from the time we stepped in the front door, fabulous place everything you needed and more, parking, arrival
Goodies and a fantastic location 5min walk into Stratford upon Avon town centre.
Colin’s communication before and during our stay was excellent, Thank you so much, would highly recommend (but at the same time want to keep it to ourselves)
Hotel location is lovely, nice villages all around. Easy access from M40. Easy to get to Warwick and Stratford upon Avon.
Staff really friendly and helpful. We found out that our room had had people with dogs in it prior to our stay and being allergic to dogs we asked to move. The staff could not be more helpful and moved us to an upgraded room free of charge.
The hotel is in the centre of Stratford Upon Avon., near the main attraction ( feeding duck area) - lovely park, walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Beautiful decor inside and out of the hotel, romantic style with historical touch.
The staff was very friendly and helpful
The room was lovely, clean with a very comfy bed.
Beautiful hotel with attentive staff, comfortable bedrooms and every detail taken care of. Really enjoyed staying here and felt that one night just wasn't long enough! It was in a prime position in Stratford with everything on its doorstep but when you were in the hotel it was quiet and tranquil.
Ideal location for exploring all the beautiful things Stratford upon Avon offers. We took our little dog and the very pleasant hotel reception staff gave him a doggy welcome pack which was very thoughtful. The staff were so helpful. Very nice breakfast and staff.
Great stay nice to have a different stay to the regular hotels and have a bit of luxury
Went to have a stay at Stratford upon Avon and a look around wasn't disappointed at all will definitely be back.

So cool to stay in the first ever Shakespeare hotel. The staff were so incredibly kind and even tho the parking situation was a bit dubious they offer you a solution. We got upgraded as well which was so nice!!!
