The breakfast and the meals were excellent and covered various cuisines around the world. The chefs including Sanjay under Naseem the head chef who was always around checking things did an excellent job. Sunil Kumar the Restaurant Manager was efficient and so were the Reception staff- Nayan who made our check in seamless. Special mention to the other Reception staff Saif and the others whose names I forget who always served us with a smile. The staff who carried our baggage and the watchman all did a wonderful job.

Bodhgaya is a place of profound spiritual significance and historical importance. It's the very site where Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment and became the Buddha. Visiting Bodhgaya is a transformative experience, where one can immerse themselves in the serenity of the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Bodhi Tree, believed to be the exact spot where the Buddha meditated.
The atmosphere in Bodhgaya is charged with spirituality, with pilgrims from all over the world paying homage to the Buddha and participating in meditation and prayer sessions. The tranquility of the surroundings, coupled with the chants and rituals, creates a deeply moving and introspective atmosphere.
Apart from its spiritual significance, Bodhgaya offers a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Buddhism through its monasteries, stupas, and ancient artifacts. Exploring the various monasteries, each representing different Buddhist traditions, provides insight into the diversity and depth of Buddhist teachings.
The town itself is charming, with narrow lanes lined with shops selling religious artifacts, handicrafts, and traditional items. The local cuisine, influenced by the region's diverse cultural heritage, offers a delightful culinary experience for visitors.
Overall, Bodhgaya is not just a destination; it's a pilgrimage for the soul. Its timeless beauty, spiritual energy, and cultural richness make it a place unlike any other, leaving a lasting impression on all who visit. Whether you seek spiritual enlightenment, cultural immersion, or simply a serene retreat, Bodhgaya offers an experience that is truly unparalleled.

One day should be enough to go around Gaya-Bodhgaya.
One day should be enough to go around Gaya-Bodhgaya. Hire a good cab service and plan well. This is more of pilgrimage center (Hindus and Buddhist). Do not miss the cave where Buddha did meditation for six years) Take this opportunity to visit Pawpuri (Mahavir's Nirvana) Rajgir and Nalanda. Historical importance. From there you may travel to Patna and see Takhat Haramandir Sahib (Birth place of Gurugobind Singh) If you have not experienced Langar do have it there.
This leg-Gaya-Bodhgaya, Pawpuri, Rajgir,Nalanda, Patna- you are touching the holy places of four religions originated in India-Hinduism Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism apart from Historical places of Nalanda and Rajgir.

Quiet place with very little pollution.
Quiet place with very little pollution. The pandemic has definitely had its impact. The temples are open only till 5 PM and the lightning of the temples have been discontinued except the Mahabodhi temple. The temples are serene, clean and visitor friendly. Definitely worth a visit of two days.
This homestay so far was the best one that I had in India. I would say the best one I had in all these years traveling. Rajhat organized everything for me and made me fell home. The homestay has the standards of Europe, clean, organized and quite. Also the best point is the location: 3 minutes of the most important place in Budhgaya. Also Rajhat did a tour with me around the city to recommend some cafes and restaurants!
Everything!
Arman is amazing host and person. Very attentive, always willing to help and making very good milk tea!
The place is very peaceful, a little far from Bodh Gaya, which for me was a big plus. One of the best hostels I stayed for sure
I would say it’s best place to stay in Bodh Gaya, especially if u r looking for a peaceful and mindful surrounding
