Excellent location and lovely and quiet. The property had everything needed for a stay there and there were extra touches like fruit and scones upon arrival with a warm welcome note. Very dog friendly with dog bowls and plenty of rugs around. Fast WiFi connection and generally a pleasant stay.

We stayed for two nights. This is a large house turned into a guest house, with some ensuite rooms and some with a shared bathroom. The house is lovely, stylish and well kept. Our room was small, but exactly as described. The large smart TV was a nice touch for before bed. Sea view was lovely. The host was really friendly and accommodating.
The thing that surprised me the most was the value for money - other places for this price (sometimes more) did not look as good, and this location is premium!

I have visited Tynemouth on previous occasions though this...
I have visited Tynemouth on previous occasions though this was the first time i had stayed there. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate on this occasion but from experience Tynemouth is an excellent place for a relaxing break. There are coastal walks and History in the town which is very well kept. Also there are several places of interest to visit nearby and the centre of Newcastle is a 20 minute ride on the Metro.

Tynemouth is a great place to stay and convenient to visit other areas. There are plenty of things to do and see and the area caters to all ages. Tynemouth Castle Inn has a fantastic restaurant which is open to all and has an excellent menu and is also a fantastic place to stay

Peacock House is mega-close to the Metro station which connects you to Newcastle, the airport, St James Park, Whitley Bay, etc. You're a 2 minute walk from dozens of places to eat and drink, all of which are a great standard. The cottage was nicely decorated very clean and well maintained. It was perfect for our 3 night stay. Our Host was very helpful, and answered our questions sent by email and text very quickly. Our host was very flexible, allowing an early check in and also provided guidance to local facilities, bars and restaurants.
