The location was just a 10 min drive from Bowness, in beautiful countryside. The view of the garden from the restaurant, as we ate a delicious, well cooked breakfast, was a delight. We stayed in a cabin and had the pleasure of the hot tub in the early evening after a day of exploring.

It was right next to the lake ferry giving easy access to other parts of the lake. Vouchers were given for the car park very close by.
there was a great path, one mile long leading to Newby Bridge, where we sat outside by the river with a relaxing drink.

A pleasantly situated hotel on the river.
A pleasantly situated hotel on the river. Our room was large and overall comfy, with a great bed. However, we found the hotel overpriced particularly foodwise which we felt was of standard quality. We had numerous negative feelings and left a day earlier. The hotel did refund a days stay which was good of them. My husband and I have much experience of hotels, Food service, customer service and felt this hotel could be so much better if they revert to first class service. I would not choose to stay there again, sadly.

The only negative was that the lakeside allowed Dogs in the hotel. I love dogs but think when you go to an expensive hotel you don’t need dogs staying in the bedrooms.
The Huntsman pub was very good for food.
While we were eating our meal there were 3 dogs running around the pub and not under control.
This was bad owners not bad dogs.
Beautiful location
Nice cosy B&B 20 min drive from Bowness-on-Windemere. The room was warm, which was a relief after getting wet during the day. Small bathroom but fine for a weekend. There is only a big overhead shower, no handheld one (personal preference). Colin was super nice and we were able to change our BF time to early morning so we could make the most of the day. He offers a good choice for BF with various cereals, musli, fruit, toast and English BF. Parking is easy on the property. I'd stay again.
Very modern, clean and comfortable. Very spacious and every thing required. Plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobes, very comfortable beds!! Lovely luxury bath sheets and hand towels. Kitchen/living area spacious and all kitchen items required for self catering. Laundry facilities great too!
Location is very good for visiting all towns nearby.
Rusland Pool pub/hotel has a great menu and Large petrol station nearby has supermarket and Costa!
Our stay was lovely! couldnt recommend Newby Bridge Caraven Park enough. After needing to change the date due to the loss of my Father the staff were so helpful. The caravan was lovely spacious and modern and the little touches of the bag of treats/toys for our dog and the bottles of prosecco on arrival were extremely thoughtful. This is the 2nd time i have stayed and will definately be back.
Spacious rooms (family room with bunkbed), free parking, free to use games room (air hockey, small pool table for kids), foosball, heated Swimming pool, Sauna rooms and Jacuzzi. Onsite Spa available but was fully booked, should book together when booking your hotel. Lakeside Pier & Lakes Aquarium are right at the doorstep. Wonderful staff, always smiling!!!
Fine lake views, very enjoyable from the terrace on a fine day over lunch or afternoon tea. The food was fine, wholesome and imaginative. The staff are universally friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. The boats to the rest of the lake were very close by. Better than the photos, the swimming pool is long enough for good exercise.
Wonderful location for a relaxing weekend. Beautiful hotel with some wonderful scenery and walks close by. Enjoyed relaxing in the pool area and had lovely food and excellent service in the restaurant. Just sorry we didn't book the spa treatment early enough so we missed out.
Location of hotel to all attractions, brilliant staff

This is our 4th stay at the Newby Bridge Hotel and we really enjoy it for a short getaway. Always value for money and a great place to base yourself for local walks. If the weather is poor my son enjoys the Pool
Nicely placed hotel for southern lakes. Real fire in the entrance lounge. Good comfortable room. I would stay here again. Swimming pool and spa was a decent temperature and steam room was good.
Lovely restaurant, food was excellent but a limited menu. Staff were very professional and friendly throughout the hotel. Excellent location if you catch the steam train to Lake Windermere.
Location was very good. Service was very nice and efficient and consistent. Evening menu was very nice. Rooms were very spacious. Generally we had a really nice stay.
