The hotel was Diappointinf as it was under renovation and nothing open, still charged full price. Nothing said about renovations or wouldn’t”t stayed. I would think twice about using bookings.com in further if info not updated.

There's lots of malls in Edmonton and it has one of the lowest tax rates in Canada. You can find almost anything here. Weather in spring, summer and fall is alot better than I thought. Dry and warm and the daylight time is long. A trip of about 4 days is perfect. It's also just a 3 hours drive from Calgary and 4 hours to Banff. Close enough to add a few days to your trip and visit either city. I also fine that there's a fun number of social clubs and social activities. One just needs to look for this before going so that you know which days of the week people meet.

Be careful of what areas you go to.
Be careful of what areas you go to. Some are rougher than others. Lots of fun sites and attractions, but know your route and keep your guard up. Most of the walking trails we have done have been exciting, but again, during the day.

I showed up for my reservation, waited in queue and my turn to checkin came, the front desk woman asked if "I WAS DELIVERY GUY (OR DELIVERING SOMETHING)" basically, she did not think a black man was here to stay in hotel, VERY RACIST !
after booking and confirming my booking (booking.com) and calling hotel to confirm reservation. The hotel refused to accept Visa debit payment, at 10:30 PM, I had to call around and find another place to stay. Already my experience was worse enough even if they did accept my reservation I wouldn't have stayed.

Edmonton is a great city!
Edmonton is a great city! Super affordable with lots of things to do, but you have to plan the time that you come to catch the right events.
People are friendly here, you just have to be aware of yourself as you travel as there are some homeless people downtown - they don't bother you, but its just means you should stay on main streets and you'll be fine.
They never offered breakfast. Room was smelly. I booked 3 rooms for my family and grandkids when I saw online that it is only 8 SMS away from west Edmonton mall but when next morning we started our travel it was 19 kms away from hotel location that was so frustrating, we felt like for this price with no breakfast extra 22$ for each car and extra $ for 3 adults in double queen room wasted our money with extra travel mileage was a lie to attract guests and ride staff was an addition to ruin guest mood and their time.
The location was perfect. It was literally five minutes away from West Edmonton Mall. The house was spacious, clean, and bright. They provided coffee and cream for the morning coffee. They provided all the utensils we would’ve needed for cooking. They provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for all the bathrooms. We had enough linens and towels for the entire family. They had board games there that we were able to play.
Very welcoming of pets really large bathrooms and rooms for disabled people staff was very nice .Has many restaurants and convenience store in the strip mall where hotel is located. Nice continental breakfast rooms are quite and conveniently located within minutes to most of the south side of Edmonton will definitely staying with them again.
Breakfast was very good not like the other places where they just make you cook everything yourself everything was hot there was scrambled eggs, French toast sausage. The only thing I had to cook for myself was the toast and it was so close to the West Edmonton Mall it was a plus for shopping.
Friendly staff throughout entire stay. We reserved room on high floor and were given one with view of Edmonton downtown which was nice, overall room was updated and clean with comfy beds. Pool/gym areas kept clean. Good selection of breakfast options. Close to west Edmonton mall.
People at the front desk were all very kind and competent. Our small dog was welcomed with no problem. They assigned us a very quiet room. The hotel is right in Downtown and we felt safe walking in the neighborhood at night. Parking is very convenient near the hotel.
Property offers breakfast in adjacent hotel with additional charges. It is connected to the property. Hotel is at walkable distance from Walmart and bulkbarn. Few minutes drive to West Edmonton mall.
Great location to get to ikea, South common shops, and the airport area outlet mall!
Dennys attached to the hotel, which is lovely!
Friendly staff as well! This is our go to hotel when in Edmonton.
I liked that the hotel was very close to the Walmart and West Edmonton malls. The staff were friendly and very helpful as well. The room was cleaned too
